AMMAN, October 18, 2016 - Stubborn North Korean reached the FIFA U17 Women's World Cup final, beating Venezuela 3-0.

Player of the match Sung Hyang Sim said: "I'm happy about winning and even more that this qualified is for the final."

Coach Sin Jong Bok said: "The match was good. Venezuela tried their best. Yerliane Moreno and Deyna Castellanos are good players but it was a little easier for us because the Venezuela players always look to pass to Castellanos , so we knew what to expect.

"We always felt that if we kept her and Moreno quiet then we would win the match and that's how it turned it out. The players were tense though so I have to focus on what we can do better for the final."

He had no injured players and denied that his girls had tried to run down the clock by feigning injury four times.

Looking ahead he said: "I preferred to face Japan in the final because we had played against them last year but never against Spain."
