LAUSANNE, July 17, 2017 - Gymnastics enthusiasts looking to
follow The World Games 2017 and King Harald’s World Gym for Life Challenge will
get a unique window on these and the upcoming World Championships with FIGymnastics 2.0, the FIG’s upgraded
The app, available free for download from the iTunes and Google
Play stores, has been enhanced to include sections on non-Olympic disciplines
Acrobatic Gymnastics, Aerobic Gymnastics, Synchronised Trampoline, Tumbling and
Double Mini-trampoline, as well as Gymnastics for All, the inclusive discipline
that is the foundation of the sport.
The application includes easy-to-follow explanations of each
discipline and its scoring system, as well as informative videos breaking down
of many of the main elements of each discipline.
In addition, the application will offer exclusive photos from
FIG events, beginning with The World Games, to be held July 20-30 in Wroclaw
(POL) and World Gym for Life Challenge July 26-29 in Vestfold (NOR).
