COLOMBO, October 5, 2017 - The Executive Board Meeting of the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) will unfold in Colombo, Sri Lanka on Thursday. The Commonwealth Games Association (CGA) of Sri Lanka was fortunate to acquire the privilege of hosting the Executive Board Meeting of the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) in Colombo.
The meetings are scheduled to be held for two days ( 05th & 06th October 2017) at the Hilton Hotel, Colombo with the participation of 18 numbers of Executive Board members representing CGF regions of Africa, America, Europe, Caribbean and Canada & Gold Coast Commonwealth Games organizing Committee members.
Meetings will be headed by Louise Martin, the President of CGF and Hemasiri Fernando, President of the CGA Sri Lanka and the Asian Regional Vice President of the CGF and Maxwell de Silva, Secretary of CGA Sri Lanka will be representing the Asian region at these meetings.
The matters arising on the development of sports in the Commonwealth countries and the matters related to the forthcoming Gold Coast Commonwealth Games 2018. The CGA Sri Lanka is looking forward to welcome all the Commonwealth delegates to Colombo.
