LAUSANNE, January 17, 2018 - The International Sports Press Association (AIPS) will be continuing its tradition of honoring journalists who have dedicated their careers to the coverage of the Olympic Games. This time, AIPS will be honoring colleagues who have covered six (6) or more Winter Olympic Games at PyeongChang 2018.
As the International Sports Press Association, AIPS will recognize sports media for their significant contribution in the coverage and promotion of Olympic sport, at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang, February 9-25. AIPS will organize a special ceremony, where journalists with six or more Winter Games, including PyeongChang2018, will be presented with an Olympic memento.
Journalists who have covered at least 6 (six) Winter Olympic Games as accredited media representatives and who will be present in PyeongChang will be recognized at the event, and are welcome to send in their submissions and CVs to the following addresses:
In order to be bestowed the honor, a journalist must have covered the Winter Olympic Games while working for a media organization as a reporter/freelance in the written press, a photographer or a TV/radio reporter. Journalists may provide proof of their coverage (accreditation badges, articles, photos, etc).
