MIAMI, January 23, 2018 - The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) informs media that the accreditation process for the 2018 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League is open. The Champions League kicks off on Tuesday, February 20.

All media members wishing to attend matches should be aware of the upcoming deadlines and accreditation process. Application volumes are high, and late applications for the competition and/or specific matches will have a lower chance of success.

Media members not already registered with CONCACAF must begin the accreditation process by registering in the
CONCACAF Media Center. Once approved for the CONCACAF Media Center, approved users will be able to apply for the Champions League and the matches they wish to cover.

Media members already registered and approved with CONCACAF can apply directly for the Champions League. Once approved they can select the matches they wish to cover.

Please note that an approval for the
CONCACAF Media Center or Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League tournament does not grant access to a match. Users MUST apply for the specific match they wish to cover.

The accreditation process for the first leg home matches of Honduran clubs FC Motagua and CD Olimpia will open once those venues have been confirmed.

The application process for each individual Champions League match will close 48 hours before each match and a minimum of five business days are required for processing a Media Center application.

A tutorial on the registration and application process is available
here.

All applications will be evaluated individually. A confirmation will be generated to confirm the submission of the application, and a second confirmation will be issued upon approval.

Applicants are advised to add MediaCenter@concacaf.org to their address book and check junk mail and/or spam folders to assure a response.

As always, NO WALK-UP CREDENTIALS WILL BE ISSUED TO MEDIA AT ANY VENUE. Please do not come to the stadium planning to perform a media function without prior confirmation of approval of accreditation application.
