Algerian magazine Botola dedicates entire issue to women's football on International Women's Day

by Mohamed Bouguerra, Women's Football, Editor in Chief, Botola

ALGIERS, March 8, 2018 - On March 8, 2017, we had the idea of issuing the first sports magazine, not only in the history of Algeria but also of Africa and the Arab world, that is entirely dedicated to women’s football, a sport that is completely abandoned by the media in our country, writes Mohamed Bouguerra, Editor in Chief of women's football at Botola.

At first, we laughed at our own audacity, but the success of the first issue was so big that during a whole year we managed to dedicate two pages for women’s football every week in our magazine. Throughout this one year, we have contributed in bringing out this amazing sport to the light thanks to 112 pages about women’s football.

For all of these reasons, we decided to issue N°2 of Botola entirely dedicated to women’s football on March 8 2018. #BotolaFootFeminin.
