Media accreditation for the 68th FIFA Congress

Zurich, April 18, 2018 - FIFA is pleased to announce that the application process for media accreditation for the 68th FIFA Congress on 13 June 2018 is now open on the FIFA Media Channel (http://media.fifa.com).

The deadline for accreditation applications is 13 May 2018.

The 68th FIFA Congress will take place at the Expocentre in Moscow. Each application will be subject to a review process by FIFA, and successful applicants will be notified by e-mail. All applicants are responsible for organising any necessary visas, as explained below.

Accreditation for the 68th FIFA Congress will also be valid for various meetings taking place around the actual Congress itself; however, please note that supplementary access devices (SADs) may be needed to access certain positions.

Important: a 2018 FIFA World Cup accreditation will not be valid for access to the Congress and all related activities.

Further media-related information about the Congress, i.e. facilities and activities, will be available on the FIFA Media Channel closer to the event.

The entire Congress will also be streamed live on FIFA.com.

Information for TV and radio broadcasters

FIFA will produce a world feed for the Congress and provide services for broadcasters wishing to attend. All services offered on-site are subject to booking and space availability and final confirmation. Interested broadcasters should contact broadcasteraccreditation@fifa.org for information and to receive the specific TV and radio accreditation link. SAD requests for broadcasters will be processed via a booking form that will be provided by the FIFA TV to interested parties.

FIFA Media Channel

Media representatives who have not already registered for the FIFA Media Channel can do so at http://media.FIFA.com/registration. This password-protected online service is designed to provide media professionals with details on activities and logistical information relating to FIFA events as well as any special media announcements. Approval to access the FIFA Media Channel does not mean that you have been granted accreditation. The media accreditation process for any FIFA competition or event requires the completion of an event-specific accreditation form via the FIFA Media Channel.

Important: information on visas

The visa procedure can only be started once you have received your approval letter for the Congress. You will find the full process on media channel in the Congress section shortly.
