A unique opportunity
: This means that in addition to the 30 young reporters from five continents already selected for the 3rd IOC Young Reporters Programme for the duration of 30 September to 19 October, six photographers (three male and three female) aged 18 to 24 now have a unique opportunity to participate in the programme.Award winning mentors
: The costs of flights, accommodation and meals will be covered by the IOC. And in the course of the programme, participants will be mentored and coached by award winning sports photographers; Bob Martin, Simon Bruty, Thomas Bob Martin, Simon Bruty, Thomas Lovelock, Joel Markland and Nick Didlick as well as other members of the Olympic Information Services ‘OIS’ Photo Team.Winter Games 2020
: Three of the young photographers selected by the mentors by the end of the training programme in Buenos Aires will have another opportunity to showcase their genius photographic skills at the second stage of the programme to be held at the 3rd Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lausanne, Switzerland from 10–19 January 2020.Eligibilty
: Apart from being 18 to 24 years old, interested applicants have to also be proficient in English, have a proven interest in sports photography alongside a portfolio and written references. Also, they must have had their photos – which is expected to prove “photographic excellence” published. How to Apply

; “Applications are only open to professional photographers at the start of their career or outstanding students with the written support of the Dean of a Photographic College. Applicants must complete the attached form and send with a portfolio of their best 12 photographs and required references. LAUSANNE, May 16, 2018 - The International Olympic Committee’s Young Reporters Initiative has included a Young Photographers Programme for the forthcoming Youth Olympic Games, Buenos Aires 2018 which will take place from 6 to 18 October.
