AIPS makes donation for L'Aquila earthquake disaster relief
Gianni Merlo, AIPS President donates 20.000 USD for the victims of the earthquake to Luigi Ippoliti, GPS Oratoriana President
At the recent AIPS Congress in Milan it was agreed to donate a substantial amount of money to the Italian town of L'Aquila which was devasted by an earthquake which hit the Abruzzo Region of Italy in early April, 2009.
AIPS President Gianni Merlo visited the medieval town to hand over US$20,000 which will be used to help rebuild sporting facilities in the area.
