On 24 January 2006, IOC President Jacques Rogge will meet with Secretary General of the United Nations Kofi Annan at the IOC Headquarters in Lausanne. The main points on the agenda include the Olympic Truce as well as the review of common projects carried out with the various United Nations agencies. The meeting comes just weeks before the Torino 2006 Games and one day before President Rogge and Mr.Annan take part in the annual meeting of the World Economic  Forum in Davos, Switzerland, where the theme of ‘The impact of sport in the world’ will be discussed.

What:
At the end of the meeting, both President Rogge and Mr.Annan will be available for short comments on the outcome of the meeting.
