AJSA honours Fekrou Kidane and AIPS Africa president Mitchell Obi

ALGIERS, April 5, 2016 - The Algerian Sports Journalists Association (AJSA), chaired by Omar Kharoum honored Fekrou Mr Kidane, an experienced African sports journalist and current advisor to the president of CAF Issa Hayatou, for his contribution to the development of sport and the sports press on the continent throughout his rich career.
President of AIPS Africa Michel Obi was also recognized for his continent-wide efforts and work in restructuring and raising the level of the profession on the continent.
The ASJA ceremony took place on the sidelines of the African journalists seminar held in Algiers from 2-4 April 2016, with the main topic being "Ethics and the ethics of sports journalist and the coverage of a large multi-sports event". The seminar was inaugurated by former sports journalist and Communications Minister Hamid Grine.
