European Press Agencies vote Cristiano Ronaldo as Best European Sportsman of 2016

WARSAW, December 28, 2016 - The winner of the 2016 edition of the European Press Agency poll for the ten Best European Sportsmen and Sportswomen is Portugal and Real Madrid football player Cristiano Ronaldo followed by Olympic champion and Wimbledon winner Andy Murray (Great Britain) and three-time gold medal winner from Rio 2016 Katinka Hosszu (Hungary).

This 59th Best European Sportsman award was organized as per tradition by the Polish Press Agency and included 27 European press agencies:
