MIES, December 21, 2017 - FIBA's Social Media platforms are some of the most popular ones among international sports federations, according to TSE Consulting.
The ranking shows that FIBA performed strongly in terms of effectiveness, activity and engagement across a range of platforms and that the separate social media offerings of basketball's fast-growing 3x3 variant also ranked highly.
FIBA is second behind the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in most liked Olympic Sports Federations, with FIBA 3x3 ranked sixth.

Over the past 11 months, FIBA has the second most interactions - consisting of comments, likes and shares - behind the IOC.
FIBA tops the list of most active federations, with FIBA 3x3 coming in fourth.
FIBA has the second highest engagement behind World Rugby and ahead of the IOC.
FIBA 3x3 is the sixth most effective federation.
FIBA is the third most followed governing body.
