How different is swimming a race at the Australian University Games (AUG) compared to a big event like the Commonwealth Games?
Australian University Games compared to the Commonwealth Games isn't quite as competitive. It's still a great racing opportunity but not as many competitors at the top level.

Do you see the AUG as a stepping stone for the Olympics?

Australian University Games is a stepping stone towards Olympics for sure. Racing is a great form of training and this was my first opportunity to race for this season.

What do you like best about the Australian University Games?
The best part of the AUG's is the relaxed nature. There’s little pressure on competition and performance which gives you the chance to try new things and enjoy the racing more.
