Record crowd for VELUX EHF Champions League match - live English commentary at ehfTV.com
 

VIENNA/COPENHAGEN, April 23, 2012 - The first leg of the VELUX EHF Champions League Quarter-finals will be one of the highlights of the 2011/12 season as AG Kobenhavn take on FC Barcelona Intersport on Friday, 20 April 2012 from 20.00 hrs.

Parken Football Arena in Copenhagen will play host to the event, the first VELUX EHF Champions League match to be played in a football arena. A total of almost 22,000 fans will be in the sold-out Parken Arena and many more millions of TV viewers will watch around Europe.

In total 21 TV stations, covering more than 100 territories worldwide, will cover this “clash of the giants” from Denmark, including Dubai Media Incorporated, which covers 23 territories and the various channels of Eurosport, covering 61 countries.

The match will be shown live on ehfTV.com, the internet TV platform of the European Handball Federation, with full English commentary as part of EHF Marketing GmbH ‘Match of the Week’ initiative. Live commentary will be provided by the face and voice of ehfTV.com, Tom O’Brannagain.

The Danish EHF media partner DR will have a big studio in Parken Arena and will cover the game with up a special TV set-up with up to 10 cameras.
